January was a month of introspection. Figuring out what is serving me well and what isn’t, what I “want” to do and don’t want to do and what I “need” to do. It’s been a liberating process. Now it’s time to plan this vision out, one step at a time, just like these dots! It may not be as quick as the time lapse but I haven’t been this excited in a long time.

Something a little different than my usual style but was really quite enjoyable to do. Getting out of one’s comfort zone takes practice doesn’t it?
Started this one a while ago and forgot about it. Finally finished it. I have failed to make time to create just for fun recently. I miss it and need to get better at it. The sun and spring air is sparking life in me again.
Today’s drawing originally had silver dots but then it looked too bedazzled for my taste. So I changed them to black dots and now it’s giving off Dragon Fruit vibes. Not my favourite creation but I still like it.
Continuing to make time for creating just for fun. It really is good for my creative soul. Not sure if this come across as chaos or connection. What do you see?
So much horror and heartache in the world right now…just all seems so wierd and overwhelming. The wierd is definitely coming through in my drawings right now. 💔
I am embracing the bluring of the days and the new art supplies I received for Christmas. I hope you all get a moment to rest and renew.
Today’s creation. Until recently I would sit with my sketchbook and not make a mark, the page would just stay blank, as if my creative well was dry. It was so disheartening. It’s taken some internal work and some small daily life changes but I think my dry spell might be over. I am so relieved and happy!
