 It’s almost Easter weekend and so I am taking some time to reflect and practice my florals in my sketch journal. The simple act of sketching/doodling really soothes my mind and soul. How are you finding internal calm these days?

 Someone recently mentioned that this print was exactly what they needed to see right now. That made me feel good that it made them feel good. I hope you are all finding a way to stay well, physically, mentally and emotionally.
 Happy Valentines Day!
Does anyone still celebrate? No matter what you’re doing, who you’re doing or not doing today...enjoy yourself because above all else...it’s Friday!  I know people dislike the commercialism of the upcoming Valentine's Day but I am a sucker for love and as you can see by my cards...I am a true romantic!!
 I have stacks of paper cut offs from my prints/cards and decided to use them to make these mini pages. I am working on sketching everyday, so these are perfect. As you can see, it’s all abstract right now...maybe I’ll even add colour to them? We’ll see where it all leads.
 It seems harder to find time to spend in the studio these days but I made it a priority to MAKE time today. Even though the time was spent planning and taking inventory, it still felt good being in here and getting organized.
 It’s the end of another year! I am looking forward to 2020, not to start over or to re-set but instead to continue...continue to grow, explore and do the things that scare me.
So thank you to every single person who has visited my shop, viewed my social media posts, for every person who has encouraged me and supported me. You have fueled me and will continue to fuel me. Thank you, it means the world to me!! Happy New Year!!  No matter what you are doing today, I hope your day is filled with love and peace.
