This Week's Print Inspiration: Makeup Artists

I truly enjoy talking to people who love their job, who have passion for what they do. Makeup artists are among those people and their passion is about more then just makeup. 

Let's start with the makeup though. Oh how I admire what they can do with makeup because I can paint a canvas, art boards, murals but I can not "paint" my face to save my life! I try and try but it never looks good. I don't have that natural skill that these women have. However if you have ever used a makeup artist, you know it isn't simply about the skill they have to apply makeup, it's about the skill they have to really see a woman's face, to really see her natural beauty before they pick up a makeup brush. 

They also talk, listen, laugh and even teach, all in the timespan that they are with their client. When they are not with clients, they are constantly learning, practising, playing and it's always obvious that they enjoy their craft. 

This is what inspired this new print in my series about people and their passions. It is in the shop now and the first ones have already been shipped to some pretty awesome markup artists I know and I can't wait to ship to more that I don't :)
